Affordable Small Business Hosting Options

We are a design and internet marketing firm and do not host any of our sites internally.  Honestly, there are far too many low cost, reliable hosting options out there to justify it.  Whether you have tons or data and bandwidth or just need a low cost shared hosting account for your five page website.  That being said, here are a few hosting options and domain registrars we recommend:

BSPeHosting.com

For the sake of complete transparency, this is a reseller account that we own through one of the major domain/hosting service providers on the web.  Legally I do not think we can list that companies name, but is the only one out there buying Super Bowl ads.  We get a small commission if you purchase from this account, but for the most part we just use it to keep things simple with our clients and to buy our own domains and hosting at a discounted rate.  Pros: The host is very reliable with close to 100% up time, easy to user admin control panel, and 24 hour customer service.  Cons: I will say that due to the nature of the shared hosting you do not have full control of the scripts installed on the server and the server settings.  If a software you are trying on the server doesn’t work, you are usually on your own (or your programmer is) to figure it out.  That being said, most popular web software are supported.
